What is Fruit Fly Fashion?

An independent Adore LLC art project that sells connectome-directed T-shirts at fruitfly.fashion, branded by Fly.

Are you affiliated with Google, HHMI Janelia, or game publishers?

No. The project uses publicly released MaleCNS imagery under CC BY 4.0 and cites upstream science. It is not an official store for Google, Janelia, or any game publisher.

How much do the shirts cost?

Fixed designs are about $39. FLY PAINT customs are about $49. Free US shipping.

What blank do you use?

Comfort Colors 1717. 6.1 oz heavyweight, garment-dyed, pre-shrunk 100% ring-spun US cotton.

Do you offer free US shipping?

Yes. US shipping is free on these shirts.

When is my shirt printed?

After Stripe checkout confirms. Orders are made for you, then shipped. Estimated arrival is often in the 4–10 business day range stated on the buy dialog.

How does sizing work?

Relaxed unisex Comfort Colors 1717 fit. Size down for a closer fit. A size chart lives on the storefront buy dialog and size guide.

What is your return policy?

Items are printed after order, so returns for change of mind or sizing preference are not accepted. Damaged or misprinted orders are covered. Full policy: /returns.

What is FLY PAINT?

A custom booth on the homepage. You enter a brief, pick a lane, set stimulus intensity, and run a paint pass. Successful runs can be purchased as a custom shirt for about $49.

Does FLY PAINT rerun the entire connectome in my browser?

No. The browser shows a lightweight projection tied to verified run lineage. Checkout signs the run server-side and renders the production print asset after payment.

What license covers the imagery?

MaleCNS v1.0 imagery is used under CC BY 4.0. Credit the upstream MaleCNS release.

How do I see proof a shirt was connectome-directed?

Each fixed product card links a YouTube proof video. The GitHub repo keeps manifests and the reproducible pipeline.
